2017 Mazda CX-9 Release Date and New Features
The arrival of the long-awaited 2017 Mazda CX-9 is almost upon us. More information about a release date and new features will be arriving shortly, but there are some things we already know. The redesign for the 2017 CX-9 is expected to be a subtle one as the 2016 model year CX-9 received quite the overhaul from previous years, but that doesn’t mean it’s not getting at least a slight makeover with some brand new state-of-the-art features.

2017 Mazda CX-9 New Features
As we mentioned, it sounds like the 2017 Mazda CX-9 isn’t going to be a completely different vehicle than the 2016 model year version. But it will have substantial upgrades in terms of features. The highlight of those new features is called G-Vectoring Control, which is the first in a series of new-generation vehicle motion control technologies collectively known as SKYACTIV-VEHICLE DYNAMICS. Mazda has announced this new feature – which provides integrated control of the engine, transmission, chassis and body – will be applied to its entire model range.
Mazda has also said the new CX-9 will be lighter than its predecessor and feature a new, more powerful engine while still offering the great fuel efficiency all Mazda vehicles have come to be known for. You can expect the 2017 Mazda CX-9 to be packed to the brim with other driver assistance, safety and technology features as well.
“Mazda is striving to become an irreplaceable presence in the lives of our customers, to create a special bond with them and to be a ‘one-and-only’ brand they will choose again and again.” – Masamichi Kogai, Mazda’s President and CEO, on the addition of SKYACTIV-VEHICLE DYNAMICS.
