The Mazda6 comes standard with a SKYACTIV®-G 2.5-liter DOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder engine with VVT that is capable of producing 184 horsepower and 185 lb-ft torque. The top-of-the-line Grand Touring is equipped with SKYACTIV®-Drive 6-speed Sport automatic transmission with manual shifting capabilities and Sport mode. The Sport and Touring models, on the other hand, have SKYACTIV®-MT 6-speed manual transmission as standard equipment and offer the automatic transmission as an upgrade.
