It’s important to stay on top of your vehicle’s regular maintenance schedule for many reasons. Your vehicle won’t function as well down the road if you wait too long between oil changes, as dirt, dust, and particles can make their way into the engine and cause corrosion. 2018 Mazda3 oil change schedule

The 2018 Mazda3 requires an oil change every 7,500 miles or 12 months, whichever comes first. However, that oil change schedule is only for vehicles that are driven in normal driving conditions. If your vehicle is consistently exposed to severe driving conditions, such as periods of extended idling, repeated short-distance driving, driving in mountainous areas or dusty conditions, and driving in extremely hot or cold temperatures, you will need to have your oil changed more frequently. Vehicles repeatedly driven in severe driving conditions will require an oil change every 5,000 miles or six months, whichever comes first.
