2017 Mazda3 New Trim Options and Features

The 2017 Mazda3 has arrived and we’ve got it right here at Seacoast Mazda in Portsmouth, NH. The new 2017 Mazda3 comes packed with upgrades and new features. Headlining those additions is Mazda’s new G-Vectoring Control, which uses the engine to refine steering and handling to match driver inputs and is the first in a series of new-generation vehicle motion control technologies collectively known as SKYACTIV-VEHICLE DYNAMICS. But while most everything in and about the 2017 Mazda3 has been made more impressive, one aspect has been simplified – its trim options. So let’s take a look at what that means for you.

2017 Mazda3 Trim Levels

Like the 2016 model year, the 2017 Mazda3 comes in Sport, Touring and Ground Touring trim levels. The differences come when looking under the hood. For the 2017 model year, the Mazda3 Sport and Touring models come equipped with a SKYACTIV-G 2.0-liter engine and the choice between a SKYACTIV-MT six-speed manual transmission or a SKYACTIV-DRIVE six-speed automatic transmission. The 2017 Mazda3 Touring 2.5 and Grand Touring models feature a SKYACTIV-G 2.5-liter engine with the same transmission options. The smaller engine is capable of pumping out 155 horsepower while the larger engine provides 184 horsepower.
