2025 Mazda CX-70

CX-70

Introduced as recently as February 2024, the new 2025 Mazda CX-70 nameplate offers a two-row midsize SUV seating five passengers. It is the twin of the still very much new 2024 Mazda CX-90. Just like its slightly older sibling, the CX-70 uses Mazda's latest and most advanced powertrains and platform to offer responsive and electrified performance.

Our article shares with you what to expect from the 2025 Mazda CX-70, so read on as we share a bit more on what we know about this exciting newcomer sale come Spring 2024

Exterior

The CX-70 shares the same exterior measurements as the CX-90 and the same wheelbase. To the untrained eye, it looks exactly the same as its twin CX-90. A slight variance in length is due to the new rear bumper design of the CX-70.

The largest platform on offer by Mazda bestows a natural, athletic posture on this brand new model which is further enhanced with the thoroughly modern and sporty finishing touches.

The 2025 Mazda CX-70's aggressive look is immediately apparent in the wide and low front fascia and defined and chiseled front end. To differentiate the two models, the CX-70 newcomer received a darker exterior theme.

Mazda's designers have further emphasized the CX-70's adventurous and dynamic persona with contrasting black accents on the exterior and a range of available black-finished and machine-cut 21-inch alloy wheels.

The CX-70's grille gets a black mesh design in place of the CX-90's brightwork, and the front bumper differs from that of the CX-90 with larger simulated grilles leading to the air curtain generators in the corners. As mentioned above, the CX-70's rear bumper also gets a different design, with faux vents on the corners. The dark accents continue to the mirror caps, door handles, and roof rails, lending the CX-70 a commanding presence and its adventure-ready and capable stance.
