The Honda HR-V is slightly roomier, but what the Mazda CX-3 lacks in in passenger space it more than makes up for in performance and efficiency. While the pricing is virtually unchanging, the 2018 Mazda CX-3 gets the edge on gas mileage and engine power.
2018 Mazda CX-3 trim levels
This year's version of the Mazda CX-3 is largely unchanged from 2017's. Available in front and all-wheel drive, the Mazda CX-3 comes in three different trim levels, similar to many of Mazda's models. The Sport trim is the base level, and it still comes with an array of standard features. Some of these are MAZDA CONNECT™ infotainment, and E911 automatic emergency notifications, among many more options.
Move up to the Touring trim level and the luxury ups a bit. The Touring starts at $22,195 and includes heated front seats, rain-sensing windshield wipers, rear cross traffic alert, and much more.
The most inclusive trim level, the Grand Touring, offers just about everything drivers could hope for. LED lighting is featured all over, inside and out of the Grand Touring. A power sliding-glass moonroof, steering wheel paddle shifters, SiriusXM radio, and so much more comes with this luxurious crossover.
