The powertrain for the Mazda CX-30 Select includes a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that puts out 186 horsepower and a six-speed automatic transmission. Driving is smooth and easy with the base model CX-30. Front-wheel drive is standard, but all-wheel drive is optional on higher trim levels.
Comfort and convenience features are abundant in the CX-30. The standard model comes with perks like a large, 8.8-inch color display for the infotainment system, which also includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth streaming, voice recognition, and a wi-fi hotspot.
Not only does the Mazda CX-30 offer a fun and comfortable ride, but it also provides a safe one. Some of the base-level safety features for the CX-30 include forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, automatic high beams, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, and driver attention monitoring. The 2022 Mazda CX-30 was rated five stars by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, and was named a Top Safety Pick by the agency.

Preferred and Premium
Mazda hasn’t released many details about the features that will be offered on each of the trim levels for the 2022 CX-30 just yet. However, we can look at the previous year’s model to get a sense of what to expect here.
Moving up to the next trim levels, named Preferred and Premium, you can expect to find a few subtle upgrades at each level. With the Preferred trim, you’ll start to see upgrades like a Bose audio system, heated seats, and increased levels of power adjustments for the seats. With the Premium trim, you’ll see even more upgrades, such as leather seating, Internet radio integration, automatic climate control, and enhanced suspension.

Turbo
Though the base level Mazda CX-30 offers a spirited ride, some drivers may want a little more oomph for their daily commute or for when they are exploring tougher terrain or carrying heavy loads. The Mazda CX-30 Turbo offers a performance upgrade with a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that puts out 250 horsepower. That’s the kind of horsepower to rival many trucks. Keep in mind that you will have to fill up the tank with premium gas to get the most horsepower.
The Mazda CX-30 Turbo comes standard with all-wheel drive to give you more power and stability when heading off road for weekend adventures. Pair that with upgraded tires to really grip the terrain and ensure that you have the power to get where you need to go.
Expect the Turbo model to come with all the same great features that the base model Mazda CX-30 comes with, including all exterior and interior features, comfort and convenience features, and safety features. Since the trim level is designed for more rugged driving conditions, expect to find a few upgrades with that in mind, such as enhanced suspension, extra safety features, roof rails, and more. Turbo Premium and Turbo Premium Plus
Generally speaking, the Turbo models for the 2022 Mazda CX-30 are going to mirror their non-turbo counterparts. Therefore, you can expect to find many of the same features on the Mazda CX-30 Turbo Premium and Turbo Premium Plus as you would on the Mazda CX-30 Preferred and Premium trim levels.
