Mazda MX-30 EV
Mazda always focuses on design that places emphasis on performance and style. Their vehicles are known to be expertly styled and extremely fun to drive. Mazda is able to bring many factors together to give the ultimate performance like in vehicles like their fun Mazda Miata. However, Mazda has been bringing some new ideas to the table recently. They have been working on a Skyactiv-X engine, a new CX-30 crossover, and more. Most recently, Mazda has been discussing its all-new electric vehicle. Find out more about the Mazda MX-30 EV right here.

What is the Mazda MX-30 EV?

This vehicle will be an all-electric compact crossover vehicle. This vehicle has a long hood and a sporty posture. This vehicle does not look like many of Mazda’s other vehicles, but it has more of its own unique design. Mazda designers are playing with the idea of the “beauty of subtraction” with this new vehicle. Under the hood of this electric crossover, you will find an e-Skyactiv powertrain. This engine has a 35.5-kWh lithium ion battery. This battery gives you 105 kilowatts of power and 195 pound-feet of torque. There are no exact numbers for the range of this EV yet, but you can expect to hear more about that soon.

What Else Can You Expect from This Vehicle?

Electric vehicles help the environment with their lack of emissions. However, the inside of the Mazda MX-30 EV will also work on sustainability and helping the environment. This is because the interior will incorporate cork and fabrics made from recycled materials. You can expect recycled seat upholstery and cork for trim throughout the vehicle. However, the interior of the MX-30 EV will still have impressive features that you have come to expect from Mazda vehicles. The interior, while made of many recycled materials, will be comfortable and luxurious. There will also be excellent design and attention to detail. You can also expect to get some great safety and technology features in the Mazda MX-30 EV. However, the exact features for the interior are unknown right now. Many 2020 Mazda models are offering the i-Activsense suite of safety features standard, which includes features like blind spot monitoring, lane keeping assist, rear cross traffic alert, automatic emergency braking, and lane departure warning. There will also likely be some great technology features like touchscreen displays, the Mazda Connect infotainment system, and smartphone integration. You will have to wait to learn more. As you can see, there is already a lot to love about the Mazda MX-30 electric vehicle. The combination of excellent design and powerful performance will come together for this Mazda electric vehicle. This vehicle is still in its early stages, so it is not available in the US yet, but hopefully it will be soon. Mazda Starts Production of the MX-30 EV

Electric vehicles are becoming more popular as more consumers are realizing the need for environmentally friendly automobiles and as electronic technology has advanced. You can drive longer on a single charge, and you can find charging ports in more places, making electric vehicles more desirable. Plus, you can earn tax credits for driving electric, and you’ll save a lot on gas. Previously, Mazda enthusiasts weren’t able to take advantage of this technology, but all that is changing. Soon, Mazda fans will be able to buy the first Mazda electric vehicle, the MX-30 EV, a stylish and sophisticated SUV. Here’s what we know so far about this exciting new electric SUV: Electric Technology Mazda’s new electric technology is being called the “e-Skyactiv” electric powertrain technology. The powertrain is a front-wheel drive system that puts out the equivalent of 143 horsepower (107kW). The battery is a 35.5kW lithium-ion battery, which means you’ll be able to easily charge it on a network of electric charging ports. The battery is capable of AC charging at 6.6kW or of DC charging at up to 50kW with the CHAdeMO or CCS standard. The charging options ensure that you have greater flexibility to be able to charge the SUV whenever (and wherever) is needed. With DC charging, the battery can go from 0 to 80 percent in just 40 minutes. Driving Range One of the most important questions that buyers have when considering electric vehicles is how far it can travel on a single charge. After all, you don’t want to be constantly charging the vehicle, and you never want to get stuck in a place where you can’t easily charge it (such as when you’re on a road trip). The good news for Mazda buyers is that the new MX-30 EV has a range of 200 kilometers (or 124 miles). That’s plenty to handle your daily commute and then some, as well as longer, weekend trips. Mazda said it is also working on a version of the MX-30 EV that will have a range extender. The model would pair a rotary engine with the electric motor to increase the driving range between charging. Style The new MX-30 EV will have a bold yet streamlined style. Mazda says that “its uncompromisingly simple styling emphasizes the MX-30’s beauty.” There is an aerodynamic design and clean lines, creating a styling dynamic that is up-to-the-minute. There is no pillar between the doors, which open “barn door” style. The front door has to be opened in order to access the half, rear door. Right now, it’s not clear when the MX-30 EV will be available in the United States. Mazda says the SUV will go on sale in Europe in the fall. Auto industry insiders speculate the SUV will go on sale in the U.S. later in the year or early in 2021. Automotive regulations seem to be determining the release date. When the MX-30EV does go on sale, you can expect to find it at Seacoast Mazda. We’ll be to help you learn all about this exciting new electric vehicle!
