Fourth of July Weekend Potluck Dock Party
On Saturday, July 1, 2017, Green Bay Marine is hosting a Fourth of July Weekend Potluck Dock Party. The event takes place from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and is free for all, as long as your bring your favorite dish to pass. Learn more.
15th Annual American Celebration
The Strawberry Banke Museum’s 15th Annual American Celebration is a three-day event that runs on July 1, 3, and 4 and features a variety of events and activities. On Saturday, July 1, 2017, attendees can enjoy American Lives: Timeline of Living History, which includes historic interactions and interpretations throughout the entire day. A 1940s Style Swing Dance is taking place on Monday, July 3, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with music from the Beantown Swing Orchestra. On Tuesday, July 4, 2017, BAE Systems is sponsoring a variety of events, such as a naturalization ceremony, an old-fashioned field day, a holiday parade, and more, throughout the entire day. Portsmouth Fireworks
The annual Portsmouth Fireworks are happening on Monday, July 3, 2017 at the South Mill Pond across from Portsmouth City Hall. The fireworks display is scheduled to begin at 9:15 p.m. In case of rain or other inclement weather, the alternative date is Wednesday, July 5 at the same time. Learn more.
Rye Fireworks
The Rye Fireworks are taking place on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at Parsons Field. Music starts at 7:00 p.m. with the fireworks display projected to begin at dusk.
