• Turbocharged 3.3-liter engine – The engine found in the 2024 CX-90 is an all-new engine for Mazda. It will be a turbocharged 3.3-liter inline six engine with a 48-volt hybrid system. This engine produces 280-horsepower and 322 pound-feet of torque when it is in non-S trims, but it can give you up to 340-horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque in S trims. This engine option will offer you around 24 city and 28 highway miles per gallon in terms of fuel efficiency.
• Plug-in hybrid engine – There is also the option of a plug-in hybrid engine for the Mazda CX-90. This plug-in hybrid model features a four-cylinder engine, an electric motor, and a 17.8 kWh battery pack.
