The Mazda CX-9 Touring upgrades the interior with leather seating on the first and second row, available in either black or sand. The second row of seating has an upgraded slide-and-tilt function that makes it easy to access the third row.
New convenience features include an auto-dimming rearview mirror, additional USB ports in the second row, a HomeLink garage remote, and a rear power liftgate.
Premium Package
The Premium Package is available on the Touring trim level. It upgrades the infotainment system with a 12-speaker Bose audio system and satellite radio. It also adds USB ports to the third row and wireless phone charging.
Other features added with the package include a power sliding glass moonroof, LED fog lights, and front and rear parking assistance.
Mazda CX-9 Touring Plus
With the Touring Plus trim level, you get all the features that are offered on the Touring trim and in the Premium Package, plus a few extras. The Touring Plus adds exterior features like 20-inch aluminum alloy wheels, aluminum roof rails, and a glossy black grille. Interior upgrades include a frameless rearview mirror, ventilated front seats, and a power-adjustable driver’s seat with two memory settings.
Carbon Edition
The Carbon Edition is a special edition of the 2022 Mazda CX-9 that features a sleek Polymetal Gray exterior with gloss black mirrors and chrome accents. The mirrors are auto-folding to prevent damage. The interior includes red leather seats and aluminum trim. Styling accents include LED door pocket lights, LED overhead lights, LED-light door handles, and black metallic accents. Mazda CX-9 Grand Touring
With the Mazda CX-9 Grand Touring, you get a mix of the features from the Touring trim level and the Carbon Edition. Some of the exterior features on the Grand Touring include 20-inch aluminum alloy wheels and body-color power-fold mirrors.
The interior drops the black trim, but it adds a lot of convenience features. You can choose between captain’s chairs or a bench seat in the second row, and with either option, the seats are heated. The leather upholstery comes in black or sand for the first and second rows. The Grand Touring adds more USB ports and provides satellite radio and a navigation system. The satellite radio comes with a three-year subscription to Sirius XM’s Traffic and Travel Link, which offers up real-time information on traffic, as well as nearby parking, fuel prices, weather information, and the latest sports scores.
Some added safety features on the Grand Touring include an active driving display with traffic sign recognition, as well as a 360-degree view monitor for comprehensive visibility.
Mazda CX-9 Signature
