The package also adds blind spot monitoring to the safety features, giving you more “eyes” on the road.
Preferred Package
The Preferred Package allows you to choose from front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. Exterior styling upgrades include a glossy black grille, a black gloss accent on the lower portion of the front bumper, and memory positioning for the side mirrors. Interior upgrades include an 8-way driver seat with lumbar support, driver seat memory, heated front seats, vanity mirror illumination, and an overhead console.
Premium Package
The Premium Package also allows you the option of front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The wheels on the Mazda3 get a bright finish with this package, and other exterior upgrades include front and rear LED signature illumination lights and a shark fin antenna. Inside, the seats are upgraded to leather upholstery, and multiple other features are offered, including an active driving display, an adaptive front lighting system, paddle shifters, Sirius XM radio, and a Bose premium audio system with 12 speakers. Mazda3 2.5S Carbon Edition
The Carbon Edition offers exciting styling and features unique to the 2022 Mazda3. This special edition comes in the exclusive Polymetal Gray exterior, and it adds 18-inch black finish alloy wheels and heated black exterior mirrors. Inside, it features red leather upholstery, as well as a Bose premium audio system with 12 speakers and an aluminum speaker grille. It shares all the other features of the Premium Package, as well.
Mazda3 2.5 Turbo
Those who want a more intense driving experience will find it with the 2022 Mazda3 2.5 Turbo. This turbocharged trim comes with a 2.5-liter engine that puts out 250 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque. The 2.5 Turbo comes as either a sedan or a hatchback, and it includes all-wheel drive. It comes with just about all the features in the Premium Package, minus the leather upholstery and the navigation system. It features leatherette upholstery, chrome interior accents, paddle shifters, and a heated and leather-wrapped steering wheel. Exterior features include gloss back alloy wheels, gloss black heated door mirrors, and a gloss black front grille. This trim level also gets special Turbo badging.
Mazda3 2.5 Turbo Premium Plus
The 2.5 Turbo Premium Plus model combines all the performance features with all the best styling and convenience features of the lower trim levels. Available for the sedan or the hatchback, this trim level includes gloss black exterior accents, a rear lip spoiler (plus a front air dam for the hatchback), and leather seating (black or red for the hatchback and black or white for the sedan). Rear Direction Base Safety is added, which includes rear cross-traffic braking and smart brake support-reverse. Additional features include Traffic Jam Assist, a 360-degree monitor with front and rear sensors, an auto-dim rearview mirror, and a navigation system.
