The 2018 Mazda3 comes in three trim levels, as mentioned before: Sport vs. Touring vs. Grand Touring. All three trims add on new standard equipment for the 2018 model year, including the advanced safety feature Smart City Brake Support and the exclusive G-Vectoring Control technology.

2018 Mazda3 Sport

The 2018 Mazda3 Sport comes equipped with a wide variety of advanced safety features that cost extra on most competitors, including Smart City Brake Support, Advanced Blind Spot Monitoring, and Rear-Cross Traffic Alert. The Sport trim has a standard 2.0-liter SKYACTIV®-G engine with a maximum output of 155 horsepower, 16-inch alloy wheels, Push Button Start, cloth seating surfaces, and 7-inch MAZDA CONNECT infotainment screen.

2018 Mazda3 Touring

The 2018 Mazda3 Touring adds on to the standard equipment of the Sport trim, tacking on additional features such as heated front seats, rain-sensing wipers, automatic headlights, dual-zone automatic climate control, a six-way power driver’s seat, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shifter knob. Additionally, the Touring trim comes with a more-powerful 2.5-liter SKYACTIV®-G engine that produces 184 horsepower and offers standard leather seats.

2018 Mazda3 Grand Touring

The 2018 Mazda3 Grand Touring is the most well-equipped model in the Mazda3 lineup, building off the standard features found on both the Sport trim and the Touring trim. The Grand Touring trim adds on standard perforated leather seating surfaces, the full-color Active Driving Display, LED fog lights, bi-LED headlights, and LED daytime running lights. The trim also offers an available Premium Equipment Package that’s jam-packed with advanced safety features.
