Powertrain
Standard engine fitment on the CX-5 is a naturally aspirated Skyactiv-G,four-cylinder 2.5-liter, double overhead cam (DOHC) gasoline engine that makes 187-horsepower@ 6,000 rpm with 185 lb-ft of torque @ 4,000 rpm.
Turbo trims use the powerful turbocharged 2.5-liter Skyactiv-G four-cylinder, making 256 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque on 93 octane gas.
Automatic transmission and the i-Active AWD drivetrain are standard across the range.
